Trying to figure it out

By that I mean turning 65.
For some reason every insurance company knows that I am going to be 65 in March. So instead of being nice they are bombarding me with truck loads of paper. In the guise of information on THEIR suppliment to Medicare.

I am easy to get along with and what I need is for someone to tell me that their insurance is better than what I have and how it is better and how much it will cost.....DONE...
But NOOOO, they want to tell me the history of Mediicar and the history of their company, then they start in on this plan and that plan and by the time they get to what I wanted to know I am sleeping. I will not read all that trash they send me because by the time I get to the bottom of one page I am either confused or couldn't care less.. it is boring and all I want is to find something that is good and so I can start paying and then they can leave me the Hell alone......
But wait there is more. In the real world I would have found the ins. and it takes care of everything I am paying away then I die....NOOOO that is to easy...because if you find something that will pay good and the price is right their pill plan sucks.....so you have to find one of those too...is it cheaper to get it all in one place or to pay several companies a monthly fee?
No wonder people go without ins. It is because even if they can afford it no one understands it.....and God forbid if you interupt the sales person and get him off his pre programed subject.......
I am not a stupid person but ins. was written to make it look like you will never get it so just pay up and shut up.....
To me it is kind of like paying for the new appliance insurance and then not being able to collect on it.....
Anyway......we will proably go along with BCBS and their high priced pills at least till next year because everytime I start thinking about it I get mad that it has to be so complicated......
And don't anyone sit there and tell me that it is not.........unless you are an insurance sales person cause if you know that is all that counts right?
I am sure this will work itself out one of these days but 65 should be a turning point when things are easier for people....not only are we getting older which is a good thing but stop making us looks stupid too.......lol......
